CLARIFICATIONS
Dress code. According the 2.3 Dress code The competitors dress must demonstrate that it subscribes to the sport profile of a Gymnastics discipline. Theatrical, musical and circus dress (belt, corset, dinner-jacket, tie, etc…) is not allowed. Clear representations on the leotard (flowers, animals, stars, guitars, etc...) are not allowed.
Repetition of element (COP page 25 / 32)
For GROUPS: If the competitors perform up to two different difficulty elements at the same time or consecutively, the element of the lowest value will receive the difficulty score.
For GROUPS: If the competitors perform up to two different difficulty elements at the same time or consecutively, the element of the lowest value will receive the difficulty score.
If the competitors perform up to two different difficulty elements at the same time or consecutively and then consecutively repeat the same 2 difficulty elements but with different members of the group, this will not be considered as a repetition and the group will be credited for both difficulty elements.
f the competitors perform up to two different difficulty elements at the same time or consecutively and then perform one element or more before repeating the same 2 difficulty elements with different members of the group, this will be not considered as “consecutively” :
- The element of the lowest value will receive the difficulty score in both cases
- A deduction of 1 pt will be given for one repetition
Difficulty : Minimum requirements
Group B : In order to receive a value, all elements from group B must complete the turn (or half turn) as it is written in the description of the elements in the COP, App2 (p 29 to 38)
=> All B elements with incomplete turns will receive 0 value. Just a little deviation is allowed and will receive 0.1 point deduction in Execution.
Prohibited moves (COP 32 / 32)
According the COP 6.1, due to the decision taken during the Intercontinental judges course, Beijing (CHN), January 2009, any kind of rolls are allowed and are not considered as prohibited moves.
1. All rotations along the sagital and transversal axis (i.e. Saltos and cartwheel) must be replaced by 1. All somersaults (forward, backward and sideward).
2. All supports with the hand(s) must not go to the vertical line (i.e. handstand). must be replaced
by 2. All supports on the hand(s) must not go to the vertical line (i.e. handstand, Flic-Flac, Cartwheel…).
To avoid the prohibited move in transition and linking, all of the movements must not go to the vertical line (i.e. from stand position using the sagital axis & transversal axis must be less than 180°).
Theoretical Exam Question Modified
According to the New COP 2009~2012, AER-TC has modified the theoretical exam question into 430 questions; the PDF file can be downloaded from FIG website (Rules – Code of points – Aerobic).
INTERNATIONAL AGE GROUPS COMPETITIONS & AEROBIC GYMNASTICS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 will be held from 12 to 21 June in Rodez (FRA).

• 21 – 26 April : WS Borovets (BUL) • 28 April – 3 May: WS Ponta Delgada (POR)
• 19 - 24 May: WS Conversano (ITA)
• 19 - 25 July: ANAC and World Series - Las Vegas (USA)
• 8 – 10 October: WS Timisoara (ROU)
NB : the deadline for FIG WS event applications is the 30th June each year.
Universiades Shenzen (CHN) August 2011.
For the 1st time, Aerobic Gymnastics will be included as a demonstration sport next Universiades in Shenzen (CHN), high level competition for the students, and will be held from 18 – 24 August 2011. Provisional programme : IM, IW, MP, TR. GR.
